The SIU Salukis won their home opener 83-42 against the McKendree Bearcats. The Salukis were led in scoring by Quel’Ron House with 18 points; he also grabbed 4 rebounds and had 3 steals. The Salukis will be back at home this Friday to take on UMKC (Kansas City). The McKendree Bearcats won’t play again until the 14th, when they travel to Ohio to face the Tiffin Dragons.
