MARION — The Marion Wildcats and Centralia Orphans meet tonight in Marion for a South Seven Conference showdown with both teams undefeated in conference play and overall on the season.
This matchup features two of the most explosive offenses in the South Seven. Marion enters averaging 68 points per game, with a season-high 78 points against Freeburg, while Centralia averages 64.2 points per game, with a season-high 75 points against Cahokia.
On paper, this shapes up to be the toughest test so far for both teams.

Marion counters with a talented young group of their own, led by sophomore Makhi House, who averages more than 21 points per game. Juniors Blake Blue (13 PPG, 7 RPG) and Cam Curry (15.7 PPG, 9 RPG) help power the Wildcats, with seniors Callahan Roper and Sam Adkins anchoring the team with veteran leadership.
With two undefeated teams, high-powered offenses, and strong senior leadership on both sides, this South Seven matchup has all the makings of a statement game. Who do you have coming out on top?
