Du Quoin Survives OT Thriller

DuQuoin edged West Frankfort 30-28 in overtime Friday night’s Black Out Cancer game. Indians QB Johnathan Brown scored three times, including two long touchdown passes to Jeremiah Jones, and sealed the win with a 10-yard TD run plus two-point conversion in OT. The Redbirds had their chances, missing a game winning field goal at the end of regulation and failing on the game tying conversion in overtime. Du Quoin moves to 5-1 (2-1) while West Frankfort drops to 4-2 (1-2).
