The DuQuoin Indians went on the road for a non-conference matchup against the Harrisburg Bulldogs on Pink Out Night and came away with a dominant 41-0 victory. As expected, the Indians controlled the line of scrimmage with their rushing attack and stifling defense, putting the game on a running clock early.
Quarterback Johnathan Brown put on a show, accounting for five total touchdowns. He rushed for 117 yards and three scores on just nine carries while also completing three of five passes for 142 yards and two more touchdowns through the air.
Wide receiver Jeremiah Jones proved to be a difference-maker on both sides of the ball, hauling in two touchdown receptions and adding another rushing score to cap off a three-touchdown night.
With the win, DuQuoin improves to 2-0 on the season, while Harrisburg falls to 1-1.
