Johnston City advances in the IHSA 2A Playoffs

It was round one of the 2A playoffs, and the Johnston City Indians came out on top with a 38–25 win. Both teams traded scores throughout the first half, but Wesclin failed to convert on their extra-point attempts, allowing Johnston City to take a 24–18 lead into halftime. The Indians’ defense locked in after the break, holding Wesclin scoreless in the second half until the final four seconds of the game, when the backups were on the field.
