In this week’s Ballin4God rankings, we have a new number one after Cahokia dropped their first game of the season and Benton has outscored opponents 132-0 over the past two

weeks. That moves the Rangers up to #1 and Cahokia down to #6. The DuQuoin Indians and the Johnston City Indians continue to climb in the poll, sitting right behind Benton at #2 and #3. Despite winning another nailbiter against the Nashville Hornets, the Carterville Lions fall to #4 in the rankings.
The Centralia Orphans remain at #5 after defeating Collinsville 29-8. Marion stays at #7 after a dominant 63-12 win over Granite City, and with Waterloo losing to Columbia, the Richland County Tigers move up one spot to #8. That also allowed Mt. Vernon to sneak into the poll after edging Carbondale 52-51, which sets up a big Week 3 South Seven matchup as the Rams head south on I-57 to face the Marion Wildcats. Rounding out the top 10 are the Chester Yellowjackets, who have outscored their Week 1 and Week 2 opponents 108-7. The Yellowjackets will face the team that just missed the poll, the West Frankfort Redbirds, in West Frankfort.
Who will you be watching this week, and who do you have coming out on top?
