After another big win, the Benton Rangers remain atop the Ballin4God rankings with nine first place votes. The Rangers defeated the Murphysboro Red Devils 42-7 and have now outscored their opponents 174-7 this season.
The Carterville Lions climb back up to number two after a 49-13 road win at Charleston, while DuQuoin drops one spot despite a 47-6 home victory over Herrin. Benton and DuQuoin will square off this Friday at Tabor Field in Benton in a top three matchup to kick off the SIRR Mississippi schedule. Who do you think will come out on top?
The Marion Wildcats rise to number four in the rankings after back to back blowout wins, while Johnston City falls two spots despite staying undefeated with a 50-14 win over Edwards County.
The West Frankfort Redbirds and the Nashville Hornets both return to the rankings after key victories. West Frankfort edged Chester 33-29, and Darren Kinnard has the full recap on River Radio Sports Central. Nashville topped Wesclin 62-41.
