The Carterville Lions have hosted the most playoff games since 2005 with 21 home playoff games. The next closest team was the DuQuoin Indians with 20 home playoff games. The Lions went 9-12 in those home playoff games. Since 2005, Carterville has qualified for the playoffs 16 times, only missing three years. The other year was the COVID-shortened season when they went 4-1. The Lions made the playoffs 12 times under Dennis Drust, who finished with 15 total playoff appearances at Carterville and a 136-46 all-time record. They’ve also made it 4 times under Brett Diel, who holds a 40-17 career record at Carterville not counting the 2025-26 season.
Do you think the Lions will host another home playoff game this season?
